DELEWARE – Democrat Joe Biden made headlines this week for stating that cops need to be retrained to eliminate the use of excessive force. It’s part of his “kinder, gentler reimagining of the police.” And based on testimony from Tara Reade, Biden is an expert on excessive force.
The presidential candidate said recently that cops shouldn’t shoot to kill when dealing with a criminal. He suggested police shoot a suspect in the leg instead – if they’re black. If they’re white, police are free to shoot wherever.
“I don’t know why we need all this shooting in the first place,” the firearms expert Biden told reporters. “Just kick ’em in the ‘nads. That’s what we used to do back in Scranton when I was growing up. I don’t care how big you are. A strong kick to the ‘nads is gonna bring any man down.”
“Trust me, I know what I’m talking about here,” he continued. When asked about situations where an officer might not be in a position to deliver a strong kick to the ‘nads, Biden said, “That’s their problem.”
What about subduing a hostile female who doesn’t possess gonads? “I would recommend the officer trip them somehow, then apply the cuffs while they’re on the ground. You can’t have cops kicking women in the groin. Come on, man!”
Joe said he and running mate Kamala Harris have ridiculous ideas for all kinds of issues. “They don’t have to be realistic,” he said. “They just have to be out there. At least we’re suggesting something. You’ve gotta give us points for that.”
