NEW YORK – Notes from the FBI’s questioning of Hillary Clinton this summer show Mrs. Clinton couldn’t recall whether she received training for classified information, was told that her server could cause legal problems for her, or much of anything else, for that matter.
When asked by an agent whether her running for president was consistent with her lack of knowledge and recall on everything, Mrs. Clinton answered, “I’M not running for president (cackling). Am I?” When the agent confirmed that she was, she shrugged her shoulders and said, “Well, if you say so!”
Her answers to the FBI were lame, such as when she was asked about the “c” marking on classified material that she emailed. “I always thought the ‘c’ stood for the C-word, you know, the one that rhymes with punt? If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been called that during my political career, I could have a foundation bearing my name.”
Hillary reminded FBI agents that there was no reason for them to recommend charges against her, as she would be found incompetent to stand trial anyway. She also told them she has suffered from amnesia from the day she became secretary of state to the day she left that position, several years later.
After asking agents repeatedly “What year is this?” she admitted to them it was easier to blame memory lapses, rather than to even try to untangle and sort out the web of lies and cover-ups that she and her team had been involved in during her time in public life.
