Kamala Explains Passage Of Time, But Asks ‘What If Time Stopped Passage-ing?’

passage of time

LOUISIANA – Veep Kamala Harris is known as the Aristotle of the Democrat Party by Washington insiders. Everywhere she goes, she shares her knowledge and wisdom with those lucky enough to witness her presence.

This week, Harris opined on the significance of the passage of time. “The significance of the passage of time, right? Most of us think ti-i-i-ime is on my side. But does anybody really know what time it is? These times, they are a changin.’ That’s right. Time is so many things. Time…..is flowing like a river. To the sea. Fun fact….at home, I keep my time in a bottle,” she said, pausing for dramatic effect.

“But what if time stopped passage-ing? Have you thought about that?” Her audience started murmuring and looking around as they tried to wrap their minds around her words. “Excuse me, I’m speaking,” she continued. “If time stopped passage-ing, we could no longer have the time of our lives. Time after time, I remind people they don’t have too much time on their hands. And why don’t they? Because time never stops passage-ing. It’s quite a concept, and not an easy one to grasp.”

“I’d like to close with a quote from a friend of mine who was way ahead of their TIME. See what I did there? His/Her’s name is Boy George, and they were one of the great philosophers of the 1980’s. Boy said ‘Because time won’t give me time. And time makes lovers feel like they’ve got something real. But you and me, we know we’ve got nothing but time. And time won’t give me time.’ Wow. I know, right?”

“You see, you can’t get blood from a turnip and you can’t get time from time. Ask Al Stewart. He knew about those time passages. So, think about what you heard here today. And when it makes sense to you, so will the Russian invasion of Ukraine and our high gas prices. Because the only one who can stop time from passage-ing, is Putin. Thank you.”
