Maxine Waters Says ‘Impeach 45’ Chant Was Reference to Trump’s Jersey Number

WASHINGTON – Football and politics have become insanely intertwined recently. Between all the kneel downs, put downs, first downs and race clowns, America is getting confused about what the protests from NFL players are really all about.

Leave it to congresswoman Maxine Waters to clarify things for us. Waters has become known for screeching the chant “Impeach 45! Impeach 45!” at all of her speeches, directed at President Trump. But Aunt Maxie, whose antenna doesn’t pick up very many channels, if you know what we mean, is usually off the mark.

“I was way ahead of this football mess with the president,” Waters explained. “I’ve been shouting ‘Impeach 45!’ for months and months, obviously referencing Mr. Trump’s jersey number, 45. It works because of the football/politics connection.”

When asked what team the president played for, Maxine shot back, “Hell, I don’t know! I don’t know everything, contrary to what my constituents think. But he must play for some team, because what else could #45 stand for, fool?!”

“All I know is that President Trump should be cut, traded, released, or impeached! Just as long as we get rid of him, once and for all!” Waters concluded by saying that she would continue to move the goal posts on the issue whenever warranted. In addition, she believes the number 45 is itself racist somehow, although she hasn’t figured out how just yet.

  1. Somehow today I’m picking up phrases that just seem to make sense in the context of which they are being used. Case in point was your use of the term “insanely intertwined” while talking about Maxine Waters. Can you think of two words that better describe the Congresswoman from LaLa land?

I can, but then my blog would be less family-friendly.
