Mexico’s President Threatens to Build Wall Around Cancun, Cozumel

MEXICO – Saying “two can play that game,” Mexico’s President Nieto declared today that if President Trump goes forward with a border wall between the two countries, he will have walls built around the resort cities of Cancun and Cozumel.

“And we will make the Americans pay for it! That will teach the gringos a lesson,” Nieto said. “Americans better know that if that wall gets built, they can say goodbye to beautiful beaches and colorful margaritas in those popular vacation spots.”

Detractors of Nieto’s plan say the wall would just hurt Mexican resorts, and that tourists will just climb over, or tunnel under, any wall meant to keep them out. Nieto seems undeterred at the moment.

He also said he is considering tearing up the NAFTA (North American Free Tourist Agreement) contract if Trump doesn’t play nice. If Nieto follows though on his threats, Americans will be forced to vacation in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Turks & Caicos, Aruba, The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Bermuda,……………………

Let’s pray it doesn’t come to that.

  1. Ah….let ’em build the wall around Cozumel. It’s been overpriced and overrated for a while now! I would MUCH rather go to Nogales!
