MICHIGAN – Joining a number of Hollywood celebrities who think hunger strikes will somehow translate into open border immigration policy, filmmaker Michael Moore added his name to the list of those who have suffered for their cause.
“I want the southern US border to be like the border to my mouth……always open,” Michael said, between spoonfuls of Blue Bell ice cream. Moore was recuperating from a nail biting, 2-hour personal hunger strike.
“It was touch-and-go during that second hour. I almost broke 59 different times. Somehow, I managed to power through it because I feel so strongly about the immigration issue. Almost as strongly as I feel about cheesecake.”
Moore lost 36 pounds during the hunger strike, and was receiving cream gravy intravenously to regain his strength. “I don’t know if I could do it again, but I’m glad I did it.” Michael also admitted he favored the South Border diet over the better known South Beach diet.
“Sometimes I can go 2 hours without food when I’m sleeping at night, but not always. Let me tell you, social justice warrioring is hard!”
