NEW YORK CITY – Nobody was more surprised than Carl Brokovich, a welder from Hershey, Pennsylvania, when he inadvertently entered the elevator at Trump Tower, rode to the top floor, and later left the building with a position in Donald Trump’s new Cabinet.
Brokovich was visiting New York City with his family and was looking for a bathroom. “Security in the lobby was so busy, and I really had to go. I heard someone say there was a bathroom a floor or two up. Next thing I knew, I was standing in the elevator with Dr. Ben Carson, Jon Voight, and Chachi!”
“We rode to the top, got out, and I actually got to meet President-elect Trump! We talked for a few minutes, and he asked me where I lived. When I told him I was just visiting from Hershey, PA, he said he had an important job for me. I told him I was just a welder, but he said that didn’t matter.”
“You’re now looking at the new Ambassador to the Amish in Lancaster and surrounding counties! I have no idea what I’m supposed to do, but I have to be in Washington to meet with the president in early February. Wait until my drinking buddies find out I’m the Amish Czar!”
Carl said Mr. Trump told him many Americans have been left behind during the 8 year reign of terror known as the Obama presidency. And the Amish have not just been left behind, they’ve been left 200 years behind. With Carl’s help, the president-elect believes he can fix that. Best of luck, Carl!
