VP Pence Confuses Pelosi As US House ‘Repeaches’ Trump

US House

WASHINGTON – Vice President Mike Pence threw US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a curve ball yesterday. Nancy had requested Pence invoke the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution to have President Trump removed from office. Democrats have ginned up the idea that Trump incited violence at the Capitol last week.

Instead, Pence responded in a letter which invoked the 1st, 5th, and 10th Amendments. The Speaker was confused by the VP’s response. “Mike sent back something about free speech nonsense, due process, and limiting our government’s power. None of those things apply to this president! Other presidents, yes, but not Trump. He should know that,” Nancy mumbled.

Pence reminded Pelosi there are no amendments that specifically endorse political vendettas or a deranged House Speaker who thinks he/she/it/they/them/other have unlimited power.

VP Pence said it’s apparent Pelosi hasn’t read the Constitution.

The VP’s response lead to Pelosi forging ahead with a vote to ‘repeach’ the president – for a second time. ‘Repeaching’ is simply impeaching a person again. And since it’s a move only pulled by Democrats, it’s considered ‘political déjà blue.’

“We can certainly do this,” Nancy explained to reporters. “It’s not considered double jeopardy to repeach the president. It’s more like double wheel of fortune.” After that comment, Pelosi dropped the mic and walked away.
